VOTED THE “BEST IN CHICAGO” by the audience of FOX NEWS CHICAGO! Bengtson Pumpkin Fest is the “Home of Happy Halloween!” We are the leaders in School Field Trip outings throughout Chicagoland and the Suburbs! We want to make your field trip the best ever! We have been offering fun and exciting field trips since 1981! The charge is $9.00 per child including a pre-picked pie pumpkin, there is no admission charge for teachers, limit 2 per class. We require (1) one chaperone for every (3) three children. Chaperones will be admitted at $7.00 each, but this does not include a pumpkin. Teachers will receive a token for (1) FREE Pie Pumpkin for their classroom. The child’s school group admission includes, the choosing of a FREE pre-picked pie pumpkin (from the designated school group pie-pumpkin area), receive one (1) Free Kiddie Ride Ticket for each student with a pre-booked reservation, (deposit required), along with all the general admission activities noted below are included with your field trip package; (sorry haunted barn excluded due to content for young children).

The field trip is at your own pace, (we do not have mandatory tours or guides) and our farm is about 90% paved, except for the hayrack ride area. The child’s admission includes the FREE pre-picked pie pumpkin along with; the fun and exciting Pig Races run every hour throughout the day, the adorable Petting & Feeding Zoo, 6 lane Mega Fun Slide, Adorable Fun Pumpkin Village and Playground, The two Giant Corn Boxes, (may be the biggest in Illinois) the Ultimate Vortex Tunnel, along with animation throughout the farm (the Skeleton Band, “Grand Ole’ Poultry” singing chickens, Moulin Rouge Chicken on a Hot Tin Roof and more), Bengtsonville Kids Village, the Fun Barn, Halloween displays, a Tractor-Pulled Hayrack Ride, Prairie Dogs performing 10x a day at the Pig Races, the Halloween shop and the viewing of the baby farm animals. Please choose your pre-picked pumpkin just prior to your departure. Special Discount…you can purchase tickets in advance for: Hootenanny Railroad Train Ride, Flying Frog Ride, Honey Pots T-cup ride, Happy Swing,  Frog Hopper Ride $1 each. To receive this special discount you must purchase and pre-pay for the rides when you make your reservation. Pony Rides are $5 each and must be purchased at the pony tent. (There is a weight and size limit for the ponies).

Also very important, we are SORRY, but the Haunted Barn due to the level of scariness is NOT AVAILABLE TO ANY SCHOOL GROUPS UNDER ANY CONDITION whatsoever. (Also no book bags are allowed in Halloween Shop.)

You have to CALL IN AND BOOK A RESERVATION BY PHONE TO CONFIRM AVAILABILITY of TIME AND DATE. We have daily limits on the number of school groups permitted; due to safety. Please call 708-301-3276 ext 100. A $25 deposit is required to hold your reservation. The deposit must be received at least (10) ten days after you make your reservation or your space will be cancelled. The balance will be due when you check in your group. All money must be grouped together and paid all at once. A minimum of 10 or more children is required to book reservation as a school group. reduced rate package) SORRY, NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED! (School checks, credit card, or cash are allowed for payment). We can NOT accept checks for OVER the amount due. Please be sure your amount written is the exact amount due for your trip. Sorry, no refunds!

Children must be (9) nine years of age or younger. Field trips are available Monday through Thursday only starting at 11:00am, excluding Columbus Day (10/10/16). We are open rain or shine; the rides and the hayrack rides will only stop due to violent or dangerous weather. Please dress your children appropriately to assure they have a great time. We do have sheltered picnic area for your use. We have many food items available for sale such as; hot dogs, chili, kettle corn, fresh apple cider donuts, soda, chips, water, caramel apples, cotton candy, nachos and cheese, funnel cakes, hot chocolate and more! You may also bring your own bagged lunches.

*Teachers please make sure each child attending the field trip has a tag on their shirt/jacket with a contact name & phone number of the lead teacher on the trip in the event a child is lost.*

IMPORTANT: Please download the (3) files below when making a reservation for school field trips. PLEASE CALL FIRST to reserve your date 708.301.3276 ext 100. After you confirm your date by phone a $25 Deposit & Reservation Form must be received within ten days of the reservation to secure the date, or your reservation will be cancelled.
